Lusty Glaze is one of the most renowned beach venues in Cornwall! Located in a small cove on the outskirts of Newquay, this venue has great uninterrupted views for that unique beach wedding. This beach is rich in iron ore and many moons ago was key to mining, evident from the small steps leading to the cave at the top of the cliff. There was even a plan to create a tunnel from Lusty Glaze to St Columb Minor but this was later abandoned in the late 1800’s. Much later in 1921 however, Lusty Glaze became known as a private bathing resort and has since had five private owners since the Crown sold it.

The current owner purchased the beach in 1999 and transformed it to what it is today, they are passionate about this wedding venue and are a pleasure to work with. This award winning venue is amazing, and still has the wooden buildings that were established just over 100yrs ago!
