Gem & Phil's Wedding 4th May
Well, I woke up, had a look out of the window and couldn't believe it-rain (again)! Could it be that I would be venturing off to the wedding of Gem & Phil in the rain? It was time to get prepared for the journey and who would believe it, I turned up in the area of St Neot and the sun came out! Obviously the journey up had resulted in my gathering half of the contents of the road, so it was time to get the cleaning equipment out to look pretty for the arrival. First stop, Lanhydrock Hotel & Golf to pick up Phil and the gents. It was then off to the church before turning up at the girls house. I have to say all parties were extremely calm and it was a great atmosphere! After the ceremony it was time for some quiet photo time on Bodmin Moor. I have to say it was great fun, we mingled with ponies and enjoyed the fresh air and countrysid
e. I actually did not rea
lise how beautiful Bodmin Moor is. In fact as soon as I got a day off we went to Carniham Woods, great stuff. We even managed to have a quick stop off at Lanhydrock house!
Wedding Saturday 11th May-Jenny & Peter
Well, it was looking dodgy yet again when I woke up and looked out of the window. That said, when I was on the road, having spent the previous day polishing Juliet, I started to see things changing. It was off to Jenny's house to be greeted by a very calm household. The drive to Kenwyn Church was a pleasant one and the sun started to shine. It wasn't long before Jenny & Peter revealed themselves outside the church and we cracked open the surprise champagne before cruising to Falmouth and heading to the beach for some great photo shots. Congratulations to you both.
Wedding Sunday 12th May - Amy & Tom
Ok, I have to confess I am getting pretty fed up with the English weather! When are we going to see more sunshine? Now I know the weather gets us all down but weather aside there is nothing better than a wedding to lift our spirits! Today was no different for the wedding of Amy & Tom. Despite the rain, it was all smiles and as ever I enjoyed every moment of being a part of this great day for Amy & Tom. That, combined with heading to a new location, made it somewhat unique.
The journey to New Polzeath was an uneventful one but it was not long before Juliet and myself were safe and sound outside our pick up point. It was not long before Amy appeared with her father looking amazing and we took to the road on our trip to Bodmin registry office.I have to say, it was great to hear and see the steam engines pulling into the station and provided me with entertainment whilst Amy & Tom had their moment.
We cruised back to New Polzeath, said our goodbyes and wished Amy & Tom the best for the future..
Wedding Monday 13th May - Mark & Debbies big day
The theme for the lunch was the mad hatters tea party, the venue Carnglaze caverns. Now this was a time to be different-it was off to pick up Debbie, before cruising to meet her groom, Mark, and get married in the Caverns. Now there was an idea, rain, snow or sunshine- it doesn't matter! It was great driving Romeo to the Caverns and having the pleasure of meeting Mark after all of the conversations on the phone.
There were just a few select guests but it was a great day full of fun and laughter, not to mention the bubble machines! The executive decision was made that the photos would be at a nearby tin mine so we set off for some snaps. It was then back to the Caverns before setting off home!
Congratulations to Mark & Debbie.
Cornwall VW Wedding Hire - Michaelle & Scott 20th May
Well, Damian took to the wheel on this fine day and it was time to head off to the Carnmarth Hotel, Headland Road, Fistral beach, Newquay and it was not to go surfing either! Michaelle & Scott tied the knot at the Carnmarth Hotel and then it was time to head off for relaxing time out together. Being in Newquay, in just would not be right to leave out Porth beach so it was off to grab some great snaps. Now I know it looks like we broke down but I assure you thats not the case. Big congratulations to Michaelle & Scott!
