Cornwall VW Wedding Hire Blog
Well, its time for me, Juliet, to tell you my tale.
The sun was out, it was the Rip Curl Boardmasters and traffic was a nightmare- who would possibly want to drive a wedding car on this fine day? Cornwall VW Wedding Hire took on this role, and what a pleasure it was too. Despite taking an hour to get into Newquay, we still managed to get there in good time!
The crew of Cornwall VW Wedding Hire woke up bright and early to head off to Juliots Well Caravan Park to meet Emma on 2nd August 2013. Out of the garage reared Juliet, our cream VW camper, and we took the great coast road to Juliots Well. The weather, combined with that great feel you get driving a Volkswagen, made the journey that more pleasurable. Once at Juliots Well we then headed to Rock where we met Adrian and it was not long before they were Mr & Mrs Pinnock. Congratulations guys!
Well, another great day! It was time for Cornwall VW Wedding Hire to head off to Helston to pick up Abby, the bride of the day, and her bridesmaids. The weather was looking good, Romeo & Juliet were ready for a bit of romance, and the pleasure was all ours. Before long we were off to St Michaels Church in Helston and then it was that great country drive to St Ives Harbour Hotel (formerly Porthminster Hotel) in St Ives. That was after we stopped for a few romantic shots courtesy of Kiss Photography.Superb day and lovely couple-congratulations to Abby & Alex!
Well, after a quick weather check it was time to cruise on the coastal route to Bude. Travelling in a VW wedding camper has to be the best way to travel I have to say. I was on my way to meet with Steph to transport her, bridesmaids and dad to the lovely Morwenstow Church. What a great, tranquil place! It was then off to Widemouth Bay with Steph & Ian for a few photos. The weather had perked up and was looking good with beautiful skies. What better way to spend your wedding day than to go to Bude Castle for the reception...
The wedding of Spencer & Jo took place at Pendennis Castle, Falmouth on Sunday 16th June- it may have been slightly damp but that did not put a damper on the days events, that's for sure! Driver of the day was Damian, who chauffeured Spencer & Jo to this great venue.
Driven by Damian, it was off with Juliet to Laddock and St Austell for Dave & Debbie's big day! - a few snaps capture the days events!
Ok, so it was foggy but that did not hold any of us back! It was St Ives and a surprise visit to collect the happy bride to be. Before the ceremony though it was time for a few photos- we then headed off to The Vicarage for the ceremony- Congratulations guys! Romeo was the chosen wedding wheels and in usual style it was a hit with everyone! I know I am biased but can't beat a VW wedding camper in my opinion!
It was for to Lands End Hotel to meet Joanne and Adam on their big day and what fantastic weather again! The only downfall was that on the journey, unfortunately alot of flies lost their lives, so it was only respectful to clean up the front of Juliet so they had a good send off! Once Juliet was back to her shiney state we cruised up to Lands End Hotel.
For once it was a nice change to turn up after the ceremony and it was off for some wedding shots-first stop being Sennon. Sennon was its spectacular self and everyone was waving and wishing their congratulations!
